Hello, dear!
Now I’ll tell you about the Barber Academy - an institution where we translate a real passion for men’s haircuts and shaving into pumping.
Our academy is a place where anyone who dreams of becoming the best barber and successfully making a career in men’s styling will find their chances. What makes us special? Firstly, this is our team of veterans and talented craftsmen who are professionals in the industry themselves.
They will pass on to students all the tricks and techniques in haircuts, shaving, beards and styling. Such craftsmen are always aware of new trends and methods in order to pass on the latest knowledge to their students.
Our training program includes both basic stuff and advanced courses for already experienced barbers who want to expand their skills and learn new moves. We have created an environment where students can express their creative individuality, be inspired and develop valuable business and marketing skills. Students have access to modern technology and professional equipment used by professional barbers.
We also organize an internship where students can apply their work on models and develop under the strict guidance of mentors. Well, after graduating from the academy, we do not forget about our graduates, support the community and offer opportunities for further professional growth and communication.
We, Odessa residents, are proud that our Barber Academy produces barbers who are ready for the impulses of men's fashion and conquering the entire barbering world!
From early childhood I was interested in fashion and style, so haircuts for me are like a continuation of a complete image.
I was always drawn to creativity, painted graffiti, studied music, breakdancing, changed a million jobs. I first saw barbershops on YouTube, where I originally got my inspiration from. It was very difficult to find mentor or teacher, experience was gained through a complex process of trial and errorI had to try hundreds of different tools, search for information on my own in order to choose something really worthwhile.
I started cutting hair for friends, family and friends, after which I went to training “in the area”, for the simplest coursesAt that time there was not a single barbershop in OdessaAfter the opening of the first shop, I successfully completed an internship together with my two colleagues. You can say that we are the first barbers in Odessa, since we were the first staff in the first shop.
Two years later I became a manager, then I began my teaching career. Two years later, they were invited to the position of manager in Preobrazhensky, where an academy was soon opened, where he taught for several years. Together with Preobrazhensky, they organized barber connections, at which he acted as a leading toastmaster) He led and judged various barber events throughout Ukraine.
In July 2020, he opened a barbershop in Odessa under own brand Luther Barbershop, “Odessa-Mama” is not just a job for me, it is a gathering of old friends and acquaintances, a family where everyone loves and supports in development, and in life in general.
We invite you to become part of our large and friendly family, we are waiting for you at Odessa-Mama Academy!
The whole story of my journey begins in kindergarten, while all the kids were playing with toys, I, as an “experienced stylist,” took elastic bands and combs and braided the teacher’s hair.
From the age of 4, it became clear to everyone that when I grew up, I would make people beautiful, and I never abandoned the idea of becoming a hairdresser. In the period from my 10-12 years, the Barber Industry began to develop rapidly in Ukraine, and I began to actively follow everything in instagram.
And now I’m finishing 9th grade, I’m 15 years old and with full consciousness I’m going to learn how to cut a haircut.
At first I learned from a video from the Internet, then later I was promoted to a barber from the Dnieper, and everything started spinning, I worked in 2 barbershops in the Dnieper, in one of them I was a manager, and due to the flow of circumstances I ended up in Odessa Mama
1. More than 6 years of experience
2. Senior foreman and manager of Odessa mamaPoskot
3. Trained by Sergei Shapochka, Maxim Nikitochkin, Josh Lamonaka
I graduated from a pedagogical university. I have experience working as a teacher in a children’s camp and also worked part-time as a teacher at school.
In my 2nd year, our headman went to a hairdressing course and I was also interested in this. I completed the basic courses for a general hairdresser, and began working in regular salons.
Then I got my hands on express haircuts for 30. In 2015, I met Dima Verkhovetsky, he taught me the techniques of working in a barbershop and took Frizor into the first team.
